Scientific Manuscripts
For scientific manuscripts that are processed by The Pro’s translators and editors, it is solely the obligation of the authors to ensure that their work presented is original and authentic, and that it adheres to all policies and regulations required for publishing. The Pro’s translators and editors provide the authors with translation, proofreading, and editing services; however, it is the authors’ sole obligation to review all changes made to the manuscripts and use their sole discretion to accept or decline the changes. The authors are solely responsible for the contents and opinions of the final products.
The Pro does not guarantee or secure publication, because the evaluation of scientific manuscripts is heavily gravitated on the body of work itself, and the final decision resides in the prerogative of the peer-review body of journals, which are at the client’s choice.
The Pro Translation LLC reserves the right to decline services if evidence indicates that the work submitted may involve plagiarism or infringement of the intellectual property rights, or may in any other way be injurious to a third party.
Other
For any types of materials provided by clients that are related to translation, interpretation, or transcription services, including, but not limited to, written, oral, and multimedia materials, clients are solely responsible for the authenticity and the legality of the materials. The Pro’s translators and interpreters only provide translation, interpretation, or transcription services. Clients agree to indemnify The Pro and its translators and interpreters against any liability arising from the disputes on the authenticity and legality of the original materials provided by clients to The Pro.
